The Objectives: The initiative aims to improve student learning by offering tools that foster autonomy and creativity. The project is part of a regional educational reform program, aiming to prepare new generations for the challenges of the digital future.
Musye’s proposal for implementing the project.
Musye proposes a three-part program to train teachers and students in the responsible and informed use of generative AI, fostering digital skills, critical thinking, and ethical standards, in line with national guidelines.
Action 1: Asynchronous online training for teachers.
Action 2: Educational workshops for students, differentiated by grade level, which include the creation of a multimedia product to disseminate the importance of gender equality.
Action 3: Certification for students and teachers.
Teaching materials will also be provided, including:
- Eduxia App License for primary school teachers
- AI App License for secondary school teachers
What is the call for proposals “Education and Innovation: AI in the Sicilian School of the Future”?
The Region of Sicily intends to promote an innovative program to enhance artificial intelligence (AI) skills in state schools of all levels.
The initiative stems from an awareness of the global changes brought about by AI in the workplace and society, and from the need to prepare young people for an increasingly digital future.
